Hia guys, I hope you’re all ok? Hope all of the exams are going well, keep at it! If you’ve finished – happy days!! Enjoy the holidays :). There isn’t long until I finish my degree and 18 years of education! Scary! I can’t believe my last ever performance as a student at the University of South Wales is this week. Please come along if you want a taste of the drama department at the Atrium, it’s on this Monday and Tuesday at 2 and at half 7 Tuesday night at Porters Bar, just accross the road from the Atrium.
This week, in between rehearsals I went to the Curious exhibition at the Atrium. It’s an exhibition of all of the final year’s work from every department. Every room was bursting with creativity from photographic displays, animation movies, live art performances and live music. It really showed to me how talented the students that are graduating with me from the Atrium this year really are, and how amazing their work were considering they are all so young.
The exhibition is open for another 2 weeks for the public, so if you get a chance, it’s well worth popping in. It’s definitely worth having a look if you are thinking of studying at the Atrium this year or the next, as it will give you an idea of what to aim for at the end of the 3 years.
I took a few photos of the exhibition for you to get the feel of it.
So, as I said, only a few more days and I will be free from education and will have to enter the big scary world! This week has really made me appreciate being a student, as I know better than anyone it doesn’t last forever unfortunately and the days I can go out until the early hours and go to my 9am lecture slightly hungover are slowly slipping away. However, a new chapter begins, so step aside and behold professional, serious minded, graduate Sian Williams. Haha, only joking, you have to still have a bit of fun even whilst you work!!
Stay tuned next week when I’ll tell you all about how my last ever performance went.
